Sun Protection

sun protection is a big thing in summer. it's important to prevent cancer and skin aging, and of corse painful sunburns. 
people with sensitive skin or acne know how hard it is to find the right sun protection for the face. i've tested lots of different lotions over the years and always broke out heavily, which is not a great thing during summer. but as i have pale sensitive skin it's vital to at least use a spf 30 during summer. 
so i did some research again and found this amazing water resistance lotion from avène. and as i love love love their eau de thermal i thought i'll give it a try. it's for acne prone skin and what can i say? it's amazing! 
it doesn't leave you with a white or greasy face, causes no breakouts and protects your face from sun caused damages. it's even possible to apply it under foundation, which makes it my summer super hero!

if you have sensitive skin and usually break out from sun protection this is your product! i'm really happy and for the first time i can enjoy the sun without having a tomato or crumble cake face. and the best,  it's much cheaper than most of the others out there! you'll find it in pharmacies and on the internet.

Hello Spring

i'm so glad that spring is here and temperature is rising. to see flowers and trees blooming boosts my mood every time, and now is the time! and i think nothing represents the first weeks of spring better than tulips, so i had to get some at the market on saturday, it highlights every room you put it in!

light trenchcoats, wide leatherpants and slip ons are all big trends this spring, so i combined them in one outfit. and oh, that zara necklace, it was love at first sight! i think pearls are going to have a big revivals, but we will see!
and no, i don't see a problem wearing black in spring. you don't need to wear colors to have a colorful live^^

so far, so good! enjoy the sun and blooming trees my loves, cause i definitely will!^^

Trend Alert: Birkenstocks

birkenstocks, it's a love or hate thing. some are head over (no) heel into this super mega trend, some would rather walk barefoot. but what's for sure, this is one of the biggest trends this summer. 

every hip brand made look a likes and even the ss14 runways were full of them. 

and when british vogue styles a whole editorial with them on topmodel miranda kerr, this definitely is a big thing.

this trend is just right down my alley! i love my bircks and had spend almost complete last summer in them. they are comfortable and look super trendy when styled with some chic and minimalistic outfits.

White Leather Top

first of all let me say: sorry for the cheesy quality! it was already late that day and getting dark, i tried to save the best i could with photoshop. and if this wasn't enough, that day i had some problems with my camera, i have no clue where this noise in the image came from. couldn't see it on the little display and when i was home it was too late. 

but anyway, i still want to show you these pictures! it's one of my favourite outfits. the pants were a steal (zara sale - yippee), the shoes love at first sight and the white leather top is one of my absolute faves this summer. i love the mesh cut outs on the side and back! and the céline, what can i say next to 'love of my life'?!^^ (naaa...just joking...some kind of...:-P )
