sure, no doubt. the steal can never replace the real, but when it comes this close it definitely is an acceptable option for all of us with a low budget.
and when it comes to trend pieces like a baby pink backpack, the steal sometimes may be the better choice.

sure, what makes a mansur gavriel bag so special is the perfect leather, but this topshop copy is a good option, as it is a real leather bag for just a fraction of the cost.

the price for the mansur gavriel backpack is 700 € (950 $). topshops version is on sale right now and costs 40 € (down from 105 €).

a pink backpack is not on my wishlist, to be honest not at all...but i think it's a beautiful bag and i wanted to share this awesome find with you! didn't do a real vs steal in a long time, but this one was definitely worth to revive this category.

Real and Steal: Alexander Wang Dasha Boots

I have a crush on these Alexander Wang Dasha booties since i saw them for the first time, and some days ago i saw they're on SALE. but they're still FAR out of my budget right now, though i would really love to own this beautifull pair of shoes.
today i saw the gorgeous victoria törnegren rockin these babes in her blogpost. i was quite sure she's wearing the A.Wangs, but then when i checked on her shirt i saw her shoes are from choies.

so choies did it again, they seem to have the just EXACT same shoe in store. when i had a closer look at the choies picture i recognized they just took the A.Wang picture and photoshoped the labels name on the inside sole and the reflection beneath.
well, i think thats quite presuming. i do want to see the product i want to purchase, and not just an image of the product it was inspired by. though they seem to look great, as we can see on victoria törnegrens outfit picture.

ok, here are some facts:
the Alexander Wang Dasha boots are on sale right now. the old price was 685 $ (~533 €), the sale price is 432 $ (~336 €), which is a quite big reduction. they're available here

the choies price is 109,99 € and according to choies 100% real leather. available here

Real and Steal: Céline Trio Bag

it's time for another Real and Steal. this one is not an exact replica, but a more, lets say 'inspired' version of the céline trio bag. as you can see the zippers are silver and the leather part is missing. but all in all it's very similar, and a good alternative, cause the céline is sold out everywhere for months now. and of corse the jessica buurman version is way cheaper! 
the céline was in store for about 590 €, the jessica buurman is available for 55 €. sure, the céline is made of the softest lambskin leather and the j.buurman is just synthetic leather, but as i said, the céline is sold out. cos and zara had quite similar versions, but they aren't available anymore.

es ist mal wieder zeit für einen neuen Real and Steal post. diesmal ist es keine exakte nachbildung, sondern eher eine 'inspirierte' version der céline trio bag. wie ihr sehen könnt sind die reißverschlüsse solber und der lederteil am zipper fehlt. aber alles in allem ist es eine sehr ähnliche, und gute alternative, da die céline seit monaten schon asuverkauft ist. und natürlich ist die jessica buurman version viel günstiger!
die céline war für 590 € erhältlich, die jessica buurman gibts für gradmal 55 €. natürlich, die céline wird aus dem weichestem lammhaut leder gefertigt und die jessica buurman aus kunstleder, aber wie gesagt, die céline ist überall ausverkauft. cos und zara hatten ähnliche taschen im angebot, diese sind aber leider nicht mehr erhältlich.

Real and Steal: MSGM Leopard Suit

here we have the leopard suit from the italion label MSGM from the ss13 collection. the steal is from choies.com.
i think it fits good in the all white trend and is perfect for people that want to break the clean look with a pop of color. also it has the aztec theme in it, which is also still trendy this summer. you can perfectly wear the shirt with another pair of pants or a skirt, and the pants with a different shirt.

the price for the real one is 250€ for the shirt and 285€ for the pants.

how do you like the outfit? doesn't it absolutley look the same?!



hier haben wir den leoparden anzug von dem italienischem label MSGM aus der ss13 kollektion. die kopie ist von choies.com.
ich finde er passt gut in den all white trend und ist perfekt für menschen die den sterilen look mit etwas farbe auflockern möchten. auch hat es das atztekenmuster mit drin, was diesen sommer noch immer trend ist. ihr könnt das shirt auch super mit einer anderen hose oder einem rock stylen, genau wie die hose mit anderen shirts.

der preis für das original von MSGM liegt bei 250€ für das shirt und 285€ für die hose.
die kopie bekommt ihr für 108,56€ bei choies.com

what is it?

i'll show you some designer pieces that are trendy right now and then the steal, the replica.

i don't support or damn replicas or copies, i just show you what is going on out there. everybody has to know for themselves what they think about it and where the border is between  being inspired by or copied. i have my opinion on it, but i'll keep it for myself and let you make your own conclusion.

this one is about ALEXANDER WANGs Aline heels.

i saw them and immediately fell in love. but the price is just too high for my budget and my legs are not yet in a shape that would allow me to wear such heels.
 but these babies were definetly on my mind. so iwas quite astonished when i saw a replica on choies.com. this one is just the same shoe!
i have the original and the steal for you.

diese neue kategorie heisst Real and Steal, was soviel heisst wie Original und Fälschung. ich werd euch hier designerteile und die kopie zeigen.
 ich unterstütze oder verurteile in dieser kategorie nicht, ich will euch einfach zeigen was dort draussen in der modewelt so vor sich geht. ich habe meine eigene meinung zu diesem thema, behalte diese aber für mich und lass euch selbst entscheiden. jeder sollte sich selbst gedanken darüber machen was er davon hällt und wo die grenze zwischen inspiriert sein und dreist kopieren ist. 

in diesem post gehts um die ALEXANDER WANG Aline schuhe aus der aktuellen ss13 kollektion. ich hab mich sofort ihn sie verliebt und hab sie natürlich sofort erkannt als ich die kopie auf choies.com gesehen habe. also meines erachtens nach ist das der selbe schuh!
