wish i was wearing

you know, if there was this world, far far from reality, where there are no limits to money and clothing size doesn't matter, i would totally wear this outfit today! i love the clean look of white/ecru wool and smooth beige suede, it looks so comfy and easy.  and the ray ban would be the perfect pop of color!

the jimmy choo pumps caught my eyes at the jimmy choo store 2 weeks ago, they are absolutly adorable, the leather is the softest i ever touched and they have this subtle and yet very loud glamorous touch. i love them in black - silver even more, but for this outfit the beige version definetly suits better.
the coat is just awesome, reminds me of a bathrobe, and absolutly perfectly displays my current mood in fashion. easy, comfy, relaxed but yet luxurious, classy and feminine.

and no, this is no advertising for net-a-porter, i just love this shop and you can find the most amazing designer clothes there. i earn no money when you click the links, i just want to share my fashion dreamworld with you.^^

obviously, i can't afford an outfit for 10,177  € (!). cause thats the price for this amazing outfit from head to toe. i just added the retail prices for fun, and was honestly shocked by the outcome. i didn't even check the prices when i choose the items, i just picked what i liked.

did you ever compose your perfect outfit without considering the pricetags?

New Hair

some of you might have seen it on instagram, i've cut my hair this week. i was thinking about it for quite a few month, but then during summer i just felt like having long hair, though it's a real struggle to deal with my thin hair. i always told myself - next week.

on monday then, on my way home after work i just did it. i went to my hairdresser and told her to cut it off. my thin hair got more volume now and my natural curls are easier to handle.

just wanted to give you a first impression cause at the moment i don't have anybody to take pictures of me. so i just grabbed my phone after lunch and took this selfie.

i wanted to go for a shorter version, but then last minute i made up my mind and told my hairdresser to go for shoulder length. i can still cut it shorter if i feel like it (which will be the case next month  i think).
there's this haircut that just won't get out of my head. well, it's not just ONE haircut, i'm talking about a hairstyle. do you remember when carrie (satc) cut her hair? she had this amazing curly bob (see it here) and i fell in love with it. and since then everytime i see women with curly short hair i get tempted. it gets worse when i see the gorgeous karla from karla's closet, who is so adorable and looks fantastic with her haircut (here). i'm not quite sure if it will suit me, and not one hairdresser i asked could give me a satisfying answer.
but i think one day i'll have to try it. and if it's just for getting over the imagination of having that haircut. my biggest fear is that my hair is too thin and would just hang down my face without any life in it. i do have natural wavy hair, but in no matter curly hair. so in order to have this curly style i would have to style them everyday, which is nothing for me.

what do you think? should i go for a shorter cut or just leave it?

Street Style - New York Fashion Week SS14

just like most of you, i guess, i'm a sucker for street style pictures. they give inspiration, show real people how they dress and interpret fashion and trends for themselves.
we see fresh trendsetter sporting the newest labels and designs. they comunicate the spirit of their time, and give some of us the courage to try something new. they are so inspiring to me, and as a fashion designer and trend consulter-to-be, it has become absolute indispensable.
fashion week is the very best place to shoot street style, as all the fashionable and stylish people there are just too willing to pose in front of all the cameras.

so all of us could take pictures of people in the street, but just a few are able to make it look so great that they can make a living from it. one of these absolute top photographers is Adam Katz Sinding. the american self-taught photographer is one of my favourites, as his pictures always have a special something and he is perfect in catching the right moment. among others he is selling his images to w magazine, where i found these street style pictures.

as we can see black, white and blue are THE colors at the moment.
i love the laid back cool look that's also called the french editors look by some. i love women who look effortless sexy and elegant, that have this kind of hidden yet obvious glamourous attitude.

Narciso Rodriguez RTW SS14

after i completly ignored all the other fashion weeks here on the blog, i thought it would be nice to show you my favourite designers with their collections on the new york fashion week.
as i'm quite busy at the moment i won't have the time to show you everything, but i'll try to show you the best pieces...

my intention was to just pick 2 or 3 outfits from narciso rodriguez...yepp...so much on that...
this collection is a dream, i liked each piece! these 12 are my absolute favourites from the 34 outfits.
i could absolutly see myself in all of these (well in case i loose the 15 extra pounds till next spring - which will definetly be the case^^)
i love the minimalistic and sophisticated look and the slick cut.
my faves are first row 4,5 and 6!

what do you think? whats your favourite from this collection?

White Leather Top

first of all let me say: sorry for the cheesy quality! it was already late that day and getting dark, i tried to save the best i could with photoshop. and if this wasn't enough, that day i had some problems with my camera, i have no clue where this noise in the image came from. couldn't see it on the little display and when i was home it was too late.

but anyway, i still want to show you these pictures! it's one of my favourite outfits. the pants were a steal (zara sale - yippee), the shoes love at first sight and the white leather top is one of my absolute faves this summer. i love the mesh cut outs on the side and back! and the céline, what can i say next to 'love of my life'?!^^ (naaa...just joking...some kind of...:-P )

what was your favourite summer outfit this year?

pants, top & heels - zara, bag - céline, ring - ysl, sunnies - unknown

Phillip Lim 3.1 Pashli Mini

Phillip Lim 3.1 - Pashli Mini  here

Jessica Buurman - Deneb Mini  here

i guess lots of you know this bag. it's the Phillip Lim 3.1 Pashli Mini, though most of you might know the bigger one. i came across this bag quite often on different fashion blogs, and while doing some research for the 'real and steal' section in various onlineshops this 'copy' came across me. i already saw it some month ago, but i thought this copy is not 'good' enough for a 'real and steal' post.
but i think it's a good alternative for people that love the Phillip Lim 3.1 but don't have the money to buy it. it's not an exact copy, which i think is not too bad, so other people can't blame you for pretending to have a real one^^ it's quite obvious on first sight that this is not a Phillip Lim 3.1.
sure, the real one is way more beautiful, but hey, what to expect for almost 500 € difference?

Jessica Buurman got other colors in store as well. next to black there are red, pink, blue, green and white, which are named Deneb Mini. They even have a black and a green look-a-like of the bigger Pashli for ~ 67 €.
the black PhillipLim 3.1 Pashli Mini with silver zippers is sold out, but you can get the golden version with textured leather here

whats your thought on that bag? do you think it's a good alternativ or just a bad copy?

MANGO Cataloge Favourites

after i showed you the new zara campaign i wanted to show you my faves of the mango cataloge. i love everything about it! i first saw it in a print version as an extra in the august issue of german vogue. i'm amazed by the quality of the shots, doesn't remind me of an typical fashions cataloge, it actually looks more like a fashion magazine editorial. i love the spirit of the shots, and of corse the clothing as well. i must admit that i would love to have almost all of it, and i must say, i even like the homewear collection.
this is not the whole cataloge, just my faves (which are like 75% ^^)

i didn't make up my mind yet what to buy, i rather wait until the stuff is in store and try it on, before falling head over heel for something that doesn't suit me at all (happend to often to me)

what are your faves?
